44. my blog finally looks like myself!! i'm so happy!!
aaa it took me 2 whole days just to set up!! from migrating my tumblr and smol.pub posts to decorating my blog's css and everything, it all looks like home to me now :] isn't it cute?? i love cute!!
just a bit of a celebratory entry, now that my blog is finally open for eyes to see :p nothing wrong with being proud of your own work, right?? and even if no one sees, the simple joy of being able to create something is rewarding enough for me!!
oh!! years ago, i've spent so long trying to create a neocities. and then i tried nekoweb (not that that's any different). thing is, i only barely got anything done with it. i think i'm just no good at coding. also as much as i did consider to use those sites as my personal blog, well... i use a phone to post. i am typing on my phone now, for the sake of convenience. i have no clue how i'd go about making every single blog post as a webpage, and frankly i don't even want to try.
my point is, i'm glad i still get to customize this space to my heart's content and actually USE it at the end of the day. i find that in making my never released websites, they'd be more style than substance. i never quite seemed to figure things out and would overthink what i want to put, how to consistently update it without having to make pages every single time. blehh.
i'm still no good at coding. really, all i did was take a pre-existing theme (hilda) and played around with it until it felt more... me!!
and i am very glad!! there is not much else to say. but i am very happy!!
